Nothing leaves a room without a signature.
Every photograph, sentence, film frame and case note that leaves a Circolo room passes one desk before it is published. Where a person, their words or their attendance is involved, it is not published at all until a written release naming the asset, the channels and the duration is on file. Where there is any uncertainty, the item is sealed rather than softened. Approval is a person, not a policy.

Everything that comes out of a room starts at zero and only moves up with a signature.
Photographs and names.
Consent here is specific, written and revocable. Silence is never consent.
Photographs
Rooms are photographed for the archive, not for an audience. Anything showing a recognisable face stays sealed unless that person has signed a release. A release names the exact frames, the channels they may appear on, and the period after which they are withdrawn. Group frames showing two identifiable guests together are never published, with or without a release.
Names and words
No guest is named on this site, in a deck, or in a proof document. Advisers appear by their standing only. Where a room's outcome must be described, it is described by category — a family office principal, a university, a government body — and never in a combination that would let a reader work out who was present.
To withdraw something
One message to Cielo, our concierge, is enough. No reason is required, and nothing is negotiated.
Delay is a design material
Nothing is published within twenty-one days of a room.
The interval is not caution. It removes the incentive to perform for an audience while the room is still happening, and it means anything we do publish has survived three weeks of second thought.
Silence is a deliverable
You may ask us to prove this.
Institutions holding a mandate with us may request a written account of what exists about their room, where it is held, and what has been published. We answer in writing, in full.
