What we collect, and what we never do with it.

Who we are

What we collect

We only collect what you type into a form or send us directly. There is no advertising network on this site and we do not buy contact data.

• —Identity and contact details: your name, email address, city, and where relevant your institution or role.
• —What you write: your answers to the questions in the invitation request or the institutional brief, including anything you choose to tell us about your work and who referred you.
• —Message metadata: the language of the site you used and the date the note arrived.
• —If you write by WhatsApp or email, the content of that correspondence.

Why we use it

To read your note, reply to it, and decide whether a room fits. Applications are assessed against a published standard of composition, which may include an automated first read that scores the application and drafts a short rationale. No decision is taken by that system alone: a person reviews every application before anything is offered or declined. If you are admitted, we use your details to issue the invitation and your access to Memoria.

Your consent

When you submit a form you are asking us to process what you wrote for the purpose above. You can withdraw that at any time by writing to hello@circolo.life; we will delete the record unless we are legally required to keep it.

Who sees it

The founder's office and the composition team. Nothing you send is sold, rented, published, or shared with other members, guests or sponsors. Where a supplier processes data on our behalf — hosting, database, email, and the model used for the first read — they act on our instruction only and may not use it for their own purposes.

Photographs, names and rooms

Attendance is never published. Photographs, names and quotations from any room are governed by The Discretion Standard, which requires written consent before anything identifying a guest is published.

How long we keep it

Applications that are declined are kept for twelve months so that we recognise you if you return, then deleted. Member records are kept for the life of the relationship and twenty-four months after it ends. Correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful to the relationship.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to hello@circolo.life and we will answer within thirty days.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses only what is required to serve pages and remember your chosen language. We do not run advertising trackers or sell audience data.

Transfers and security

Our operations run from Abu Dhabi and our suppliers may store data elsewhere; where that happens we require equivalent protection. Access is limited to the people named above and protected by authentication.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will change the date at the top of this page, and tell members directly.
